There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues, the most dominating virtues of human, are created, strengthened and maintained.

I grew up in Hope, Arkansas, a small town in southwest Arkansas known for producing the world's largest watermelons, the world's finest loudspeakers, and world famous politicians. It also produced me, a hard working sales professional instilled with values learned from generations of family, from the community and from business leaders. I learned the value of doing the right thing at an early age. My father and grandfather owned an auto dealership  and were community leaders. My mother was no small influence either, promoting local businesses and serving on countless boards and charities, working in legal businesses and government offices.

My life centers around family. My wife, Amy, and I have four children. Jack, 28, is grown and out on his own. He's an attorney and lives in Little Rock with his fiancé, Abby. William is 16 and in the 10th grade. Julia and Henry are both 14 and in the 8th grade. 

Amy is the Minister of Music at First United Methodist in Searcy, Arkansas. She is originally from Lexington, Kentucky. We met when we both moved, individually, to Searcy (me from Little Rock) in 2004. We were married in 2007.

After living in Searcy from 2004 until 2018 we moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas. In August 2022 we moved back to Searcy which is where we live now.  

When I'm not at work, at church, or doing something with my family, I enjoy outdoor activities. Running, swimming, hiking, biking, skiing or almost any activity on the water. I'm also a audio-visual techno-geek.
